AMAT and The Alliance to Host Workshop on Advancing Inclusive Practices in Donation and Transplantation
AMAT is proud to announce a collaborative half-day workshop with The Organ Donation and Transplantation Alliance during the 33rd Annual AMAT Conference, taking place September 23–26, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The session, titled “Bridging the Gap: Leading with Cultural Integrity to Strengthen Community Ties in Organ Donation and Transplantation,” will be held on Tuesday, September 23. Open to professionals across the donation and transplant continuum, this workshop will examine how culturally grounded practices can positively influence both clinical performance and community engagement.
Participants will explore real-world case studies, engage in candid dialogue, and walk away with actionable tools to build trust and enhance outcomes in diverse communities. Together, we will dive into the critical role of cultural awareness in achieving equitable, sustainable improvements across our field.
This special session underscores AMAT’s continued commitment to equity-driven education and system-wide collaboration. We’re excited to partner with The Alliance to bring this important opportunity to our conference attendees.
